To the Vintner,
I would like to include your wines into the "Wine Diamond Art" portfolio. Outlined here is the process and opportunities associated with this program.
1. Acquiring tartrates: I acquire some "tartrate" crystals from your wine. They may have formed in the bottle or on the corks. They may have also formed in the barrel during fermentation or during the cold stabilization process. Another method that I have used, is to attempt to cold-stabilization "in the bottle", where some of the residual tartrates may fall out. It is preferred if the wine diamonds occur naturally or come from the barrel.
The main thing is that I get the tartrates by one method or another. I photograph these flavor molecules and create "Wine Diamond Art" for each specific wine.
2. The informational/graphic element: After I get some good photos of your wine’s “taste”, I will produce a photo collage or poster (usually 13”x19”) that shows images of the wine, along with a short explanation of what “wine diamonds” are and how they appear in “fine wines”. Here is a sample of one that I prepared for Arista Winery’s 2013 Pinot Noir. This is a photograph of the "taste" of that wine.

3. Display: I will give you this poster and you can display it somewhere in your facility (or merchandise area) with some “rack cards”, which I provide free of charge. This printed informational material is available for your customers to view and take with them.
If they choose, they can order fine art prints directly from the winediamondart.com website. You do not have to do anything, which makes it simple for your guests to order fine art prints without any intervention on your part.
If you choose to offer art in your merchandise area, I can provide prints that you can offer for sale in your tasting room.
I also produce “Wine Diamond Art” note cards, wine jewelry, and fine art books, which are available for you to offer with your wine related accessories if you so choose.
I can also supply additional photographs that can accompany the poster to make a small grouping of "Wine Diamond Art" for display as a décor element in your facility. This choice is entirely up to you.
Photography of your wines will be incorporated into our online portfolio and "Wine Diamond Art" fine art books.
4: Event Exhibition: I can exhibit some art and make a presentation to add an interesting “live” component to your specific tasting events. This is, of course, an advanced option and only relevant if you find it would be something applicable to your event program.
Please join us in this program, and become a part of the "Wine Diamond Art" portfolio.
